The World Premiere of Low Self Esteem Girl was at The Blinding Light Cinema in Vancouver.  This amazing little theatre showcases myriad quality film and media works, from experimental and avant-garde pieces to independent features, animation, obscure kitsch and multimedia performances.


Reginald Harkema is a Genie-award nominated editor (Last Night, Hard Core Logo, Twilight of the Ice Nymphs) and director of the feature A Girl Is A Girl.  To us at Low Self Esteem Girl, he has been an inspirational resource and an endless well of moral support (and, a swell guy, to boot!)  Keep abreast of his latest projects at the Masculine/Feminine Films website

 
Telefilm Canada has generously supported the completion of Low Self Esteem Girl.  They are a funding body that has helped fund many of the greatest independent films in Canada.
 

The New Pornographers, a band featuring Low Self Esteem Girl alumni Blaine, Carl and Dan, have a CD coming out on Mint Records. Our pal and king of the Vancouver music scene, Nardwuar the Human Serviette, has been confounding celebrities for years with his wild interviews
